Organised in partnership with Sonagas, G.E. and fully endorsed by the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy, the second Equatorial Guinea Gas Conference was a tremendous success. Inaugurated by the Prime Minister H.E. Ignacio Milam Tang and held in the impressive GEPetrol building, the conference gathered top government officials from the Ministry of Mines and senior executives from Sonagas, GEPetrol and all the companies operating in Equatorial Guinea.

Current and potential investors heard first hand from the Minister Delegate of Mines Industry and Energy about the Gas Masterplan for Equatorial Guinea and the resulting opportunities. Exciting new projects were revealed, such as plans for a refinery and the development of petrochemicals.

The networking was outstanding with constant presence of Ministers, General Directors of Sonagas and GEPetrol and other key decision makers. Delegates also enjoyed the opportunity to meet privately with the Ministry officials and Sonagas executives and discuss projects in detail.

The evening functions were of course memorable thanks to the notorious local hospitality which enabled an atmosphere where deals were done and much fun was had by all.
